This web site is the family tree of
James Daniel Austin and Lourne Sherene Holloway-Austin. We
have been we have been working to put together the pieces of our
family history. Slowly but surely we will find out more
information to work with. This site also contains Family
Genealogy Reports for some of the surnames listed. These
reports contain information such as: birthdates,
deathdates, places of birth and death, and marriages. There
are also Pictures of various family members from both sides of
our families. We have also provided links to various site
that will add in the search for lost family members.

The surnames for James is Austin, Davis, Soliday,
Story, Southerland, Leonard, Collins, and Tayor. These
surnames are from James's parents, grandparents, and great
grandparents. Lourne's side of the family line has three
separate families due to the adoption of her father William
Howard Holloway. The surnames for Lourne is Holloway, Pope,
Clark, Jones, Dawkins, Downey, Patton, Morgan, Hamilton, Smith,
and Nelley.
In our research thus far we have tracked a few
origins for our families. For Austin Sparta, TN is the
birth place of James's great grandfather William Cas Austin.
For Story Jonesboro, Tn is the birthplace of James's
grandmother Nell Story. For Southerland the possibility is
Kokomo, IN.
As far as our research for Lourne's side of
the family is Mississippi. For Jones, Dawkins, and
Downey is around the area of Meridian, MS. For Pope and
Patton is Clarksdale, MS and Batesville, MS. Research for
Lourne's side is still sketchy on the whereabouts of the origins.
We are still researching this and will continue to update
the information as we receive it.
